On the birthday of our Patron Nadezda Fomina, we introduced "Nadezda Day", an annual celebration to honor our founder's hope, passion, and commitment to being better through reading, science, and lifelong learning,  and to remind our community of students and teachers of our school motto - "Knowledge and Wisdom for Excellence".

In the future, we plan to go beyond our school perimeter and challenge other regional schools to achieve excellence through healthy teamwork and competitions in academic and athletic fields.

FEBRUARY 2021

We are happy to announce a very significant event in the life of Khabibu, an albino student at the Millennium Primary school:

  • When Dr.Lucy came to visit the school in January, she had witnessed Khabibu's struggle to read books and even the lessons written on the blackboard were very hard for him to see clearly. She knew that his inability to see well from a distance and even close by was due to his disability

  • She immediately decided to provide the necessary funds needed to get proper glasses to help Khabibu with his eyesight which now support him with managing his daily activities

  • It is an absolute joy to see a great improvement in Khabibu's life as he can now fully participate in all aspects of life at school.

JANUARY 18, 2021

It was a big day in the history of the Millennium Primary school - Inauguration day, as the school was celebrating one year from opening doors to its first students in January 2020:

  • The founders of the school, Mr. Amandus Tembo and Dr. Lucy McLean have arrived from Canada for this special occasion

  • An official representative of the government and many parents were also present at this celebration

  • Three flags were raised as symbols of the countries which support the school project: in the middle flies the flag of Tanzania, as the center of our efforts, hopes, and future aspirations, and as the homeland of Mr. Tembo, while the Canadian flag is on one side, symbolizing all the help and support coming from this great country and the Russian flag on the other side as a sign of its strong educational tradition and empowerment from a nation that dares to be different; Russia is also the homeland of Dr. Lucy
